re: International Database – renewed request to Padre Pio Prayer Groups

Dear Spiritual Children and Friends of Padre Pio,

The Lord give you His peace!

As communicated in a letter dated March 2017, an international database for all the Padre Pio Prayer Groups scattered throughout the world is in preparation.  The Central Office for the Prayer Groups requests that this information be transmitted NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 15, 2017, in order to compile a much needed database for all the Prayer Groups. If the requested information is sent via email it will arrive quickly and clearly. If a Prayer Group has no access to internet and must send the information by regular mail, the one compiling the material is asked to please type or print clearly so that the information may be transcribed without difficulty. You need not send this information to National Office, since it will accessible to the Office through San Giovanni.

The following is the information requested:

– name of spiritual director, address, email, telephone …

– leader of group, address, email, telephone …

– name of the Prayer Group, schedule of meetings, church or chapel were the group meets, number of participants ..

– personal comment of the priest who follows the group …

The requested information can mailed to San Giovanni Rotondo:

Centro Gruppi di Preghiera di San Pio da Pietrelcina

Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza

Viale Cappuccini 172

71013 S. Giovanni Rotondo FG,

or emailed (preferable) to:

centrogruppidipreghiera@operapadrepio.it

With God’s help and every group’s cooperation, we will be able to have an updated and functional database. There are some groups who function as groups but who have not been listed among the groups in the USA. Please, send your info as well.

Thank you ahead of time for your cooperation in this matter. Remember that no signature is necessary from the Office of the Bishop since the information requested is from Prayer Groups already approved and functioning, even is they still have not received their Certificate of Affiliation.

May God bless all of you, and Our Mother and Padre Pio guide, guard, and protect you and your loved ones.

Peace and Blessings

Fr. Francis A. Sariego, OFM Cap
