Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of the faithful, and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth.

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. 1 May Jesus reign in your heart, to fill it and make it abound with his holy love. 2 The holy gift of prayer is in the right hand of the Savior. 3 To the degree that you are emptied of love of body and your own will… more well-rooted in holy humility… the Lord will communicate to your heart. 4 Be content with taking small steps until you have the legs to run, or better still, the wings to fly. 5 God speaks to those who truly have a humble heart before him, and he enriches it with his gifts. 6 When one seeks with great haste and avidity, something, one can even touch (it)…and see it a hundred times without realizing it. (Hurry up slowly…prepare)
7 We must keep our hearts open towards heaven and await the heavenly dew from there. 8 Recognize (God) to be our God and we ourselves as his creatures, spiritually prostrate in his presence 9 If you can speak to the Lord, do so, praise him, pray to him, listen to him…don’t worry…pay him homage. 10 When you find yourself close to God in prayer, consider its truth, speak to him…stay with him. 11 Think no more of your past life, except in order to admire the heavenly Father’s goodness. 12 Admire and never cease to admire the behavior of divine grace within you. 13 Exult always and bless and thank the Lord for such exquisite goodness he has shown and continues to show you.
14 Do not afflict yourself anymore for the past, because this has been pardoned by the Lord’s goodness. 15 Do not be discouraged or frightened by your miseries and weaknesses. 16 God has seen sins in you, and, by his mercy did not reject you…He will grant you his grace. 17 (God) will erect the throne of his glory on your abjection and vileness. 18 These are the trials of chosen souls whom God wants to put to the test when he sees they have the necessary strength to sustain the battle. 19 Practice meditation and all other devout practices … always renewing your upright intentions. 20 Be certain of God’s love for you … do not wrong divine goodness by doubting this.
21 The most perfect thing to do is to rest tranquilly and resignedly in the arms of divine mercy. 22 If you want to be perfect, be patient in bearing your imperfections. 23 Abandon yourself totally in the arms of divine mercy and let him transport you wherever he wishes. 24 Jesus obedience in the Garden and on Calvary was marked by immense conflict … but he obeyed. 25 Abandon yourself to the Lord … stay close to him and let the storm come … you will not be submerged … He who is all-powerful is (with you). 26 Courage…take heart. Do what you must…Jesus sees the interior disposition and he rewards this. 27 You do well to recite ejaculatory and vocal prayers, and to make acts of love, humility, and conformity to divine will, when you tire of meditating.
28 I never cease to present you to the Lord and to be close to you. 29 Do not fear the snares of Satan; he is powerless against the children of God. 30 You are fine and you love God; and God greatly loves your soul with a special love. The words of Padre Pio for this month are taken from correspondence directed to the Campanile Sisters: August 23, 1918; December 21, 1918; January 1, 1919; July 17, 1922; (Several undated letters)

Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

(recited every day by Padre Pio)
  1. O my Jesus, You have said: “Truly I say to you, ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.” Behold, I knock, I seek, and I ask for the grace of final perseverance (and whatever grace you may seek).
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.
  2. O my Jesus, You have said: “Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in My Name, He will give it to you.” Behold, in Your Name, I ask the Father for the grace of final perseverance (and whatever grace you may seek)
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.
  3. O my Jesus, You have said: “Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” Encouraged by Your infallible words, I now ask for the grace of final perseverance (and whatever grace you may seek)
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted, have mercy on us sinners, and grant us the grace which we ask of You, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your tender Mother and ours.

Prayers in honor of St Pio of Pietrelcina

St. Pio of Pietrelcina, spiritual Father of countless souls who seek a deeper relationship with God in their lives, I thank God for the gift He has given His Church in you. You are the image for our modern world of His Crucified Son and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…
(After this daily introductory prayer add the intercessory prayer designated for the specific day of the week)
Sunday
Through your resignation to the Father’s Will in your life, often manifested through the decisions of the Church and your religious superiors, teach us humility that we may be among those humble souls to whom the Eternal Father, through His Incarnate Son Jesus, promised to reveal the mysteries of His Kingdom.
(After the prayer for each day add the concluding prayers)
Monday
Through your love and concern for those who suffer in mind and body, teach us to recognize with the eyes of faith the face of our Lord Jesus Christ Who makes Himself known in the poor and suffering.
Tuesday
Through your resignation and trust in God during the painful struggles you were asked to endure, support and assist us in times of trouble and trial.
Wednesday
Through that ministry of the confessional for which you were known and through which many returned to the Father’s love, encourage us to trust unlimitedly in the graces of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and to experience the joy of forgiveness in sincerely returning to the loving embrace of the Father should we succumb to temptation and fall into sin.
Thursday
Through the faithfulness with which you bore the sacred marks of the Passion of our Savior on your body during your earthly journey, strengthen us by your example to bear in our hearts and accept in our lives the life-giving mystery of the Passion-Death-Resurrection of Jesus.
Friday
Through that childlike confidence and love you fostered and encouraged for the Mother of all God’s children, Mary ever-Virgin, teach us filial love and devotion for, and confident recourse in the almighty intercession of Mary, the Mother of the Lord and our Heavenly Mother, that through Here intercession, we may more easily approach the Savior, through Whom the Father calls us to Himself.
Saturday
Through the concern and commitment with which you attached yourself spiritually to all those who sought you as spiritual guide, accompany us at every moment on our earthly pilgrimage towards heaven. There we hope one day to contemplate the glory of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, our God Who lives and reigns for ever and ever.

Concluding Prayers

(recited every day )
May I never boast of anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ

Through it the world has been crucified to me and I to the world.

You bore the wounds of Christ on your body.

That we might learn the value of the Cross.

Pray for us St. Pio of Pietrelcina

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray:

Almighty and eternal God, by a singular grace you allowed your priest, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, to participate in the mystery of the Cross of your Son, and through his ministry, you revealed the marvels of your mercy. Grant that through his intercession, we may remain one with Christ in His Passion so as to joyfully attain the glory of the resurrection. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Amen.
