Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
I know mine and mine know me...I will lay down my life for my sheep. (John 10: 11-18) Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit (John 15: 1-8)) As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love (John 15: 9-17) 1 As long as the trials last ... you can be sure that the Lord is trying you as His chosen one. 2 May this Loving Lord continue to possess your heart.
3 Do not fear the storm that roars about your spirit. 4 God is accomplishing His admirable plans in you. 5 (God’s plan for you as for your) complete, total, and full transformation in Him. 6 Be patient in bearing your imperfections 7 When you are unable to take big steps on the path (of perfection), be content with small steps. 8 Lovingly humble yourself before God ... because God speaks to those who are humble. 9 Let your heart be upright before God.
10 Before making a move, question the one who has been established as the judge of your soul. 11 It is necessary to elevate oneself on high. 12 Resign yourself to the divine will ... and bless the hand that shakes your spirit and body. 13 (God) does not forget he is our Father. 14 The most afflicted souls are those chosen by the divine Heart. 15 You must hide yourself in this Heart (of Jesus). 16 The soul who has chosen divine love cannot remain selfish in the Heart of Jesus & burns with love for our brothers & sisters.
17 Live calmly, blindly abandoning you to the arms of the Heavenly Father. 18 Let eternal goodness take care of things. 19 May Jesus always continue to fill you with his holy love ... continuously transforming (your heart) totally in Him. 20 In darkness, tribulation, anxiety of spirit, Jesus is with you. 21 Even our Lord on the Cross complained of the Father’s abandonment: but could the Father ever abandon His Son? 22 Jesus wants this! Fiat! Pronounce this fiat with resignation and do not fear 23 Complain to Jesus as you wish, as long as you are always resigned.
24 Assurances are drowned in the storms of anxieties and torments. 25 May divine mercy see to it that your prayers are granted ... and give you total victory over the enemy. 26 God, who is faithful to his promises, will not permit you to be oppressed. 27 May the holy Spirit, enlighten our senses and our hearts with his grace. 28 In temptations against faith and holy purity, invoke St. Michael and Saints Peter and Paul. 29 As long as your soul has a strong will to live and die serving and loving God, do not be upset ... any impediment. 30 It is sufficient to know that god is our God and that our heart is his home.
31 May Jesus reign in your heart, to fill it and make it abound with his holy love. The words of Padre Pio are taken from his letters to the Campanile Sisters: 1918: May 25, 31; June 5, 9, 22; August 18

Prayers and Practices for the Month of Mary

Memorare

(adapted)
Remember, O most compassionate Virgin Mary that never was it known, that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your assistance, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly to you, O virgin of virgins, my mother, to you I come, before you I kneel, sinful and sorrowful.
Mother of the Word Incarnate
(Assist me, that I may open my heart to God’s Word, and, like you, open my life to Christ, that I may live with, in and for Jesus, as you did.)
Despise not my request, but in your clemency, hear and answer me.
Amen.

Thanksgiving to God for the gift of Mary

Father, all-powerful and ever-living God, we do well always and everywhere to give you thanks; we especially praise you and proclaim your glory for the gift you gave us in the Blessed Virgin Mary. She received your Word in the purity of her heart, and, conceiving in her virgin womb, gave birth to our Savior and so nurtured the Church at its beginning. She accepted God’s parting gift of love as she stood at the foot of the cross and so became the mother of all those who were brought to life through the death of her only Son. She joined her prayers with those of the apostles, as together they awaited the coming of your Spirit, and so became the perfect pattern of the church at prayer. Raised to the glory of heaven, she cares for the pilgrim Church with a mother’s love, following its progress homeward until the day of the Lord dawns in splendor. And so we thank you eternal and ever-living Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for Mary our Mother, through whose almighty intercession we find our way more easily to you, who live forever. Amen.

To Padre Pio
for Childlike Trust in Mary’s Intercession

Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, pray for me, that with your childlike confidence in Our Lady, I can say with you: thank you, Mary, my Mother, for the many graces I obtain through your almighty intercession. Pray for me, o Holy Mother, that I always have strength sufficient to accept whatever burdens I am asked to bear each day. May I bear them hopefully with a joyful heart, knowing that you, Mother, are with me, encouraging and leading me ever closer to Jesus Your Son, in Whose Name I pray, and Who lives with the Father and the Holy Spirit forever. Amen.
