Return to me with your whole heart (Joel 2)
Now is the very acceptable time (2 Corinthians 5)
Take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may seen them (Matthew 6)

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
1 May Jesus…comfort you in all painful trials and make you holy! 2 Don’t fear the evil tricks of Satan. 3 Jesus is at your side, and his vigilant grace watches over you. 4 Hope in the Most High and no harm will come to you. 5 Don’t let the difficulties which you will meet along this path frighten or terrorize you. (‘path’ - to holiness) 6 God is with you and he, who has taken your sanctification to heart, knows how to defend you from all your enemies. 7 May Jesus continue to totally possess your heart and render bit worthy of him!
8 My heart never becomes silent before God. 9 God is with you and it is his spirit that is working within you. 10 Be resigned even when you don’t feel up to it. 11 May Jesus always look upon you with a benevolent eye. 12 May (Jesus) comfort you in sad times and render you always more dear to him. 13 The Lord’s calling must be followed immediately; otherwise we place our salvation in danger. 14 Don’t let temptations frighten you.
15 (Temptations) are the trials of the soul whom God wants to test when he sees they have the necessary strength to sustain the struggle. 16 You must not believe that the world is ingenuous, and accept its demonstrations and protests in an ingenuous manner. 17 Only with Jesus and with him who takes his place can you have complete trust and behave in a simple manner. 18 Be cheerful and rest trustingly, as always, in the arms of divine mercy, and do not fear 19 Let all earthly and infernal powers rise against you; they are powerless as long as you confide in Jesus and abandon yourself to him 20 In the apostolic college there were those who loved and those who were loved. But all, except for the son of perdition, were loved by the divine Master. 21 (The first disciples) were not treated all in the same manner, but according to their needs, characters and capabilities.
22 Be tranquil in God’s holy name, and despise everything that upsets you, because it doesn’t come from God. 23 Live in peace, and I warmly bless you. 24 Be tranquil! Receive Holy Communion and pay no attention to the boasting of others 25 You should take heart and be ready for any trial to which the Lord might wish to subject you. 26 How good God is! It is true that he is good to all, but he is particularly good to those who place all their trust in him. 27 (In the midst of our trials) you always conformed your will to that of God … So the Lord wishes to reward you. 28 May Jesus be with you always; may he comfort you in every painful trial, and render you worthy of his divine pleasure!
The daily words of Padre Pio are taken from his letters to two spiritual daughters:

Praying the Month dedicated to the Hidden Life of Jesus and His Preparation for the Ministry
(Pray this paraphrase of the Our Father, written by our Seraphic Father St. Francis of Assisi, and let the words and reflection you recite each day help you to appreciate and pray more confidently and lovingly this beautiful prayer that Jesus Himself taught us)

Our Father most holy: Our Creator, Redeemer, Consoler, and Savior:

Who are in heaven: In the angels and the saints, enlightening them to know, for You, Lord, are light; inflaming them to love, for You, Lord, are love; dwelling in them and filling them with happiness, for You, Lord, are Supreme Good, the eternal Good, from Whom all good comes without Whom there is no good.

Holy be Your Name: May knowledge of You become clearer in us that we may know the breadth of Your blessings, the length of Your promises, the height of Your majesty, the depth of Your judgments.

Your kingdom come: That You may rule in us through Your grace and enable us to come to Your kingdom where there is clearer vision of You, perfect love of You, blessed companionship with You, eternal enjoyment of You.

Your will be done on earth as in heaven: That we may love You with our whole heart by always thinking of You, with our whole soul by always desiring You, with our whole mind by always directing all our intentions to You, and by seeking Your glory in everything, with all our whole strength by exerting all our energies and affections of body and soul in the service of our love and of nothing else; and we may love our neighbor as ourselves by drawing them all to Your love with our whole strength, by rejoicing in the good of others as in our own, by suffering with others at their misfortunes, and by giving offense to no one.

Give us this day: in remembrance, understanding, and reverence of that love which our Lord Jesus Christ had for us and of those things that He said and did and suffered for us.

Our daily Bread: Your own beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Forgive us our trespasses: through Your ineffable mercy through the power of the passion of Your beloved Son and through the merits and intercession of the ever blessed Virgin and all Your elect.

As we forgive those who trespass against us: And what we do not completely forgive, make us, Lord, forgive completely that we may truly love our enemies because of You and we may fervently intercede for them before You, returning no evil for evil and we may strive to help everyone in You.

And lead us not into temptation: hidden or obvious, sudden or persistent.

But deliver us from evil: past, present, and to come

Prayer to our Heavenly Mother
